Vanessa Migos
(Vasileia) Vanessa Migos is a dedicated and experienced educator specializing in early childhood foreign language immersion. For the past 14 years, she has served as a Grade 2 Spanish Immersion teacher in the Millis Public Schools. In addition to her work in Spanish immersion, she has taught Pre-school, Kindergarten, and Grade 2 Greek at Saint Nectarios Greek School, supporting students across a wide range of Greek language fluency levels.
Vanessa is passionate about designing and implementing curriculum that is thoughtfully tailored to meet her students’ individual levels of fluency and literacy. She holds a Massachusetts teaching license for grades 1–6.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (Grades 1–6), a second Bachelor's degree in Spanish as a Modern Language, and a Master's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Literacy. At the age of 18, she also earned Level Gamma certification in the Ellinomatheia Greek language exam.
Vanessa’s deep connection to the Greek language and culture began in childhood—she attended Greek school and spent every summer in Greece with her extended family, experiences that continue to shape her teaching and cultural perspective.
Vanessa is happily married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have two beautiful children, Vasilios and Athena. At home, she and her husband are committed to raising their children bilingually, instilling pride in their Greek heritage, and continuing the tradition of spending summers in Greece with family.
