Amalia Chaidouti
Amalia Chaidouti is a native Greek from Thessaloniki and currently based in Boston. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Education, as well as a Master’s degree in Educational Science, with specialization in School Education from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She specialized in education theory and pedagogy, including child and adolescence development, learning theories - such as constructivism and behaviorism. Her academic work and professional interests center are based on teaching, student-centered learning, effective pedagogical methods and history - theory of school.
Also, she is teacher of Greek as second/ foreign language and she brings both academic expertise and heartfelt enthusiasm to her teaching. She is experienced teacher with a strong background in teaching the Greek language to children, adolescents and adults and her work spans broad age range, because her academic education is based on secondary school education.
She is passionate about education, learning and teaching Greek-one of the most important element of Greek culture. Through her teaching, she aims to help students not only master the language, but also connect deeply with the cultural and historical richness of Greece. Moreover, Amalia loves sharing her knowledge and finds great joy in helping others grow, gain confidence, and discover the depth and beauty of Greek heritage and tradition.
